The interior, designed by Marcel Wanders, draws inspiration from both Dutch history and contemporary design. For a space inspired by a traditional distillery, we designed two large-scale copper light installations that also function as room dividers.
The installations were created using standard copper components, which we modified and combined with specially designed elements. Every part was hand-soldered, assembled, polished, and coated. The result is two light installations that evoke the appearance of monumental copper distillation equipment, each fitted with multiple light sources mounted in copper lamp holders.
