Building TQ, the host of the Strijp-T area, is a multi-company building for growing, ambitious organizations that are ready for the next step. The building represents various work by Dutch designers. The client’s wish: Design, create and install extraordinary lighting from the ground floor up to and including the 7th floor at the entrance and exit of the elevators.
With the ‘Contour’ series, Aptum designed 14 different shapes of lamps, all of them matching the same theme. The compositions vary from floor to floor, giving the user an illuminated landmark on his or her floor. The lamps spread soft pink light, which is set more brightly during the day than at night, so that it is never too bright or too soft. The lighting can be adjusted at any time in different colors and brightness, the whole is connected to and is controlled by the Dali system of the building itself.
