The Municipality of Eindhoven asked us to capture the ‘Vibe’ of the city in a video.
Eindhoven is bursting with energy. It is a city of ideas and action. Imagination and creators. Brabant and global. This mindset, innovative history and belief in the future have earned Eindhoven a top global position in technology, design and knowledge. By stimulating each other and working together, Eindhoven is able to inspire the world and transform the city. There is room to grow. For talent, ideas and initiatives.
Eindhoven is therefore inviting its most renowned visual artists to make a short clip of Eindhoven’s logo to create a visual culture that expresses the energetic power of this city and share the unique Eindhoven feeling with the world. To share the ‘Vibe’. The city invites anyone who feels the energy to share it via #sharethevibe.
‘We feel honored that we were allowed to make a clip for the city that we ourselves are part of every day. We work daily in the heart of the city on light objects that show a piece of Eindhoven all over the world. This is our ode to the city that always glows and blushes.’
The clip shows the making process of our lighting system ‘Contour’, made in the ‘Vibe’ shape. We then took the lamp to our most favorite places in the city: everywhere green in and around Eindhoven!
